What we do
AAVS supplies industrial valves, actuators, switchgear, smart metering, instrumentation and related fabrication services to the water, power, mining, solar and petrochemical industries, from Kempton Park, Gauteng. Product pages on this website describe the main characteristics of the goods we offer. Where prices are shown they are list prices in South African Rand; formal quotations state the full price including VAT, delivery and any other charges before you commit to anything — see the Terms of Sale for how quotations, payment (card or EFT via PayFast, or EFT against invoice), delivery and returns work.
Further ECT Act disclosures
- Accreditation and memberships: AAVS is a CIPC-registered private company, a registered supplier on National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (MAAA0992451), and a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor. We do not currently subscribe to a self-regulatory code of conduct; consumer disputes may be referred to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud as set out below.
- Payment: approved quotations are payable by card or instant EFT via PayFast, or by EFT against invoice. Card details are processed by PayFast on its own PCI-DSS-certified infrastructure and never reach our servers.
- Delivery times:dispatch and delivery timeframes are stated on each quotation; delivery is free within 50 km of Kempton Park.
- Returns, exchanges and refunds: set out in full in the Terms of Sale, including the consumer’s right under section 44 of the ECT Act to cancel an online purchase within 7 days of delivery, and the exceptions to it.
- Record of your transaction: you receive your enquiry acknowledgement, quotation and payment confirmation by email, and may request a full copy of your transaction record from us at any time. These legal pages can be printed or saved for your records.
- Minimum duration: we sell goods and once-off services; there are no subscription or fixed-term agreements concluded through this website.
Complaints and disputes

Consumers protected by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 may also refer unresolved disputes to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud or the National Consumer Commission; privacy complaints may be lodged with the Information Regulator (South Africa) — details in the Privacy Policy.
